Please join Mr. Brosnahan, superintendent of the Marion School, tonight at 6:30PM in the old gym (previously scheduled for the music room). Please bring your questions for the evening! Hope you're able to make it, and if you can't, we'll have one more evening roundtable meeting again next Thursday, May 30th at 6:30PM in Marion's old gym. Thank you!

Yesterday, our amazing Marion staff participated in a CPR class taught by Mr. Von Berge! This training helps ensure our teachers are prepared for any situation, prioritizing the safety and well-being of our students.

🦁🐧 The Kindergarten and 1st Grade students had a fantastic end-of-year field trip to the Great Plains Zoo! They had a blast exploring the exhibits and learning about the animals. The day was topped off with a fun picnic lunch at Sertoma Park. What a great way to end the school year! 🥪🌳

📚✨ On the last day of school, Friday, May 17th, the Elementary School celebrated our amazing students with awards for Accelerated Reading, Almost Perfect Attendance, and a special drawing from the "Caught You Doing Right" slips! 🎉

Good morning! Marion’s Superintendent, Brian Brosnahan, will be at the Calvary Reformed Church in Monroe tonight at 6:30 PM for a discussion and Q&A session regarding the upcoming bond and bond vote on June 4th, coinciding with the primary election.
Tonight's meeting will be more informal compared to our previous community meetings. Our aim is to provide insight, answer your questions, foster respectful and positive discussions, and ensure that our taxpayers/voters are well-informed about the project.
If you’re unable to attend tonight, there will be two additional meetings at the school (May 23rd and May 30th). More details will follow. Thank you for your engagement and support!

Have you heard the whispers of a band trip? If your student will be in 7th-12th grade in 2027, please plan on attending the informational meeting held in the band room on June 5th at 6:30 pm. Any questions, please reach out! courtney.hentges@k12.sd.us

It was a moment filled with pride, joy, and excitement for the bright futures ahead. To the graduating class: your hard work, dedication, and perseverance have paid off. We're incredibly proud of each and every one of you. Here's to new beginnings and endless possibilities! #Classof2024

Today, our 3rd-5th grade class had the wonderful opportunity to explore the fascinating world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) projects during our free time. It was a fantastic chance for our students to engage in hands-on learning experiences and discover the wonders of STEM in a fun and interactive way.
STEM education is crucial in preparing our students for the challenges and opportunities of the future, and I am thrilled that our class had the chance to delve into this exciting field today. By participating in STEM projects, our students not only develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills but also foster a love for learning and exploration.
I commend our students for their enthusiasm and curiosity, and I want to express my gratitude to our educators for providing such enriching learning opportunities. Together, we are empowering our students to become lifelong learners and innovative thinkers.
Here's to many more exciting STEM adventures in the future!
