Good morning, the Marion School District will be holding their second community meeting tonight in the new gym to discuss the Master Planning process and vision for the district's future. The meeting will be called to order at 6:00PM with staff and school board members being available for facility tours from 6:00PM until about 6:50PM. COOP architechs and the Master Planning presentation will begin at 7:00PM in the new gym. We hope to see you there!

Washington DC/New York City trip parent meeting for 6-10th grade parents is scheduled for tonight, November 6, at 7:30pm. Hope you've had a great week, here is the latest Marion Minute with some updates and news happening here and around the school. If your child is in K-2nd grade and works with Mrs. Wieman, please return/participate in her new math and literacy initiative that she's put together, check out the Marion Minute for more info, she's worked very hard on some amazin, themed bags, focused on math and reading. Finally, the community meeting that was held on Oct. 16th is finally up and streaming on our YouTube page (sorry for the delay). Please watch it if you have some time...Also, our next community meeting will be held on Monday, November 6th. At 6:00PM-6:45PM that evening we will be offering facility tours with the meeting/presentation portion set to begin at 7:00PM. The Phoenix football team will travel to Platte tonight for the second round of playoffs starting at 7 p.m. The game will be livestreamed on blackpantherslive.com. Ticket prices for the playoffs (set by the SDHSAA) are $7 for adults and $5 for students. Good luck Phoenix!
