The Marion FCCLA members would love to spread school spirit by selling mums designed and created with help from County Line Nursery. Payment is due when the Mum is picked up! Mums will be available for pick up by the new gym starting Tuesday, September 10th, from 4-6 pm, Thursday, the 12th, from 4-5 pm, and again on Friday, September 13, before the homecoming football game from 2-3 pm. Other arrangements can also be made for pick up (contact Mrs. Anne Pankratz). COST-$10/mum and includes-charm of choice and an “M” charm. Hello Marion Families!
The junior class will be hosting a homecoming tailgate to raise money for prom! We will have a burger bar with chips, a water, and a dessert for $10, additional burgers can be purchased for $5! We hope to see you there!
The Bobcat Soccer team is fundraising and selling mugs. 35% of the proceeds go back to the soccer team to help cover travel expenses and food for the team. Order forms are attached in the link below or in the office at the school. Orders need to be to RR creations no later than September 13th.

The Preschool and Junior Kindergarten classes were busy last week working on project for Aa week. Good job students you apples turned out amazing!
The second graders are learning about the American Flag as part of a citizenship unit. They enjoyed looking at a collection of flags from the Siouxland Heritage Museum!

After the pep rally, school will be dismissed at 12:30 PM. Bus routes will run following dismissal.

The Bearcats Varsity Volleyball team kicks off their season with the Early Bird Volleyball Tournament at Hanson tonight against the Freeman Flyers. The game will start at 6pm on Court A. The bracket for the tournament is below.

Due to the Heat Advisory today, the JH and JV Football games scheduled in Freeman vs. Parkston have been postponed until tomorrow (8/27). JV/Varsity practice will still take place in Freeman as scheduled.

Good afternoon, the Marion School Board will hold a special meeting tomorrow night at 6:30PM in the Marion music room. The agenda is attached for more information. On a side note, the first few days of school have been fantastic!
