HS Semester Test Incentive pdf
The Marion School High School student’s semester grades are calculated with 42% 1st quarter grade, 42% 2nd quarter grade and 16% semester test/project. This semester, high school students that have a 90% average semester grade or higher will have the option to not take the semester test in that particular class. They can take the test if they so choose to improve grade. If they have 90% in all of their classes they do not need to attend school next Tuesday or Wednesday for semester tests. We will figure grades after Friday help day on Dec. 17th and let students know of their status on Monday Dec. 20th. We need to make sure an account for student’s attendance each day and lunch count, so please visit with your students and if they do not have to attend for semester tests please let the school know of their intention.
I hope this incentive will help motivate and push students to always do their best and also reward students for meeting expectations on a daily basis this semester. Thank you for your continued support.
