Sophomore Year
Pay attention to your high school transcript. Take your classes, homework, and grades seriously.
Review where you are academically. A reminder that your transcript will determine your eligibility for career, college, and scholarship opportunities. Do you need to increase your GPA? Do you need to retake courses to stay on track for graduation?
Get involved – Not only will time fly having fun, but it looks great on employment and college applications!
Keep track of your volunteer hours, grades, extracurricular activities, and awards. This will be helpful later in high school!
Consider possible career options and investigate the type of education that is needed
Register with the NCAA/NAIA if you plan to participate in athletics after high school.
Prepare for the ACT- take the PreACT
